The first contact made by the college was a sock giveaway that combined a personalized postcard with a social media call-to-action.  Students were encouraged to follow the college on Instagram and to post a selfie wearing the socks.

Scholarship weekend could be a prospective student’s first visit to campus. Visual cues and design consistency were leveraged across all media to sustain the underlying concept of “your future home.”

Welcome To Marquette

Once a student had committed to a program, a second campus tour was typically scheduled. A 72″ customized digital sign, a social media post, a coffee mug, and a sticker were all handed to the new freshman to promote a comfortable and homey experience.

A recruitment campaign was launched by the college of communication that shadowed prospective students from initial contact through acceptance into a program. Three distinct tag lines were used to mark the students’ admissions status, which were tied together by a personalized message of, “your future home.”
